Progressive Visions - An American Adventure

 

The contact with Mark Gaines started with the new millenium; an unexpected encounter that began with a mutual interest for the musical avantgarde that started in Great Brittan in the late 60´s; a wide range of musical styles and influences, refered to as progressive rock. To make the story short, Mark found me on the Internet. Being an experienced artdealer, he asked me to send pictures of paintings and from that day our communication has grown to become a deep friendship.

Last year, Mark and his lovely wife Deborah, moved to Birmingham. Alabama and from there he - or I would rather say they - are starting up Progressive Visions : at first being meant to be vehicle for my introduction to the American market. At the moment Mark is writing a personal biography about me and my poetical visions. He is also ( among other very creative projects..) making a CD record with pictures of paintings, meant to be a "slideshow" to a background of music. An item; beautifully packaged, that will be presented to those might find an interest in my art.

With the beginning of September, the first paintings "came ashore" and could be shown to galleries and presumed clients. Our efforts though, are on a longtime basis and we do not expect any "overnight sensations". Time will work for us however and we firmly believe in this; our venture. Painting has never before been so fulfilling, with a lifes dream in sight!
