So much is happening in U.S.A. At first, when my paintings had arrived
to Birmingham. Alabama; the nightmare we all have in mind since a while back,
broke lose with full intensity. At the time, my agent Mark Gaines and his
lovely wife Deborah, were planning a trip up to New York, having a few galleries
in mind for me; a journey that ofcourse had to be cancelled. A CD with a "slideshow"
is however being prepared to be sent of to different galleries and other establishments.
My next show will take place at Café Österskans; a gallery in Halmstad.
Sweden 15th mars - 10th April. 2003. Possibly, I will also perform some of
my music .
For my wifes show ( it´s almost an installation project ) at The Museum
of Legends. Ljungby; Sweden, I will create a musical show that connects to
a fairytale theme.
This summer, I started a musical cooperation with the Canadian guitarist,
singer-songwriter Monte Nordstrom. For starters, I will be playing acoustic
guitar and sing on his next album, which is an international venture with
musicians from all over the world. It will contain songs from five decades
and will be held in a somewhat progressive style. Monte will also be playing
on my first album; thought to be released perhaps late next year.
At about the same time, my friend Peter Nylund and I started a guitarduo
"Butterfly Farm" a longterm recording project; an exploration of the territories
between psychedelica, progressive rock and other sources of inspiration.
My old friend Thomas Brixmar, is a benevolent factor in all this, helping
me out in his lovely recording studio; beautifully situated in the countryside,
just nearby his home. Thomas is leadguitarist - singer in The Bluesmakers;
maybe one of our countries finest groups of it´s kind.
Currently, I´m also working intensely with my poems: material from the
mid 70´s up to know; that I´m transfering into my computer. In a year or two,
I hope to be able to present something close to a book. A dream, would be
to create a number of images that would further enhance the symbolism within
the texts. I would also like to record "soundscapes", perhaps together with
my friend, the very talented composer Roland Olsson. In 1976 we wrote "A Crow´s
Night" together; a piece of Musique Concrete in which my early poetry played
a significant part. If anyone is interested, I can make a CD-R of a "test-recording"
for you.
So far, so good. I´ll come back to you soon! Please talk to me; I so much
enjoy a stimulating conversation.
Thank You! Olle Olsson and Raimo Blomberg for your support; and Stefan
de Fine Licht who designed the logotype.
